Asus GeForce GTX 980 Ti Strix 6GB Overclocking Results
The Asus GTX 980 Ti Strix is already one of the highest-clocked GTX 980 Ti GPUs on the market, second only to the Zotac AMP! Extreme variant, so it is understandable that overclocking headroom will be fairly narrow. We managed to push the frequencies to 1,261MHz on the base clock, 1,362MHz on the boost clock and 1,950MHz on the memory (7,800MHz effective). The actual GPU core clock, as recorded by GPU-Z, was around 1,460MHz in heavy 3D loading. The small overclock we achieved translated into approximately 5 percent extra performance over the factory speeds of 1,216, 1,317 and 1800MHz on the base, boost and memory clocks, respectively.
